Fortinet has patched a vulnerability in FortiSIEM versions 6.7.0 to 7.4.0 affecting TCP request handling. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability to execute unauthorized code or commands through specially crafted TCP requests. This can lead to system manipulation and unauthorized access to sensitive information. Researchers have released Proof-of-Concept code, increasing the risk of widespread exploitation. Active exploitation attempts have been observed on honeypot infrastructure through public sources.
